Translation
Plugin Translation
An english translation ini file is available in the plugin directory (/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/letsencrypt/
) called vendor.en.ini
. All translation files use the current users set locale.
The plugin will first look for a vendor supplied file (e.g. vendor.fr.ini
) then if not found, a customised translation file (e.g. translate.fr.ini
) before falling back to english.
To support multiple languages simply copy the english file, change the locale to the desired language, and add translations after the equal sign.
Example: translate.fr.ini
`Go back`=Retourner
Please Note
Any modifications to the vendor translation files will be erased each update, please ensure you only make modifications to ’translate’ files.
Email Translation
Similar translations can be done for emails, the vendor file is vendor_email.en.ini
, which you should copy to e.g. translate_email.fr.ini
.
HTML Email
As of 0.8.0, HTML emails are supported. Create a file called email_[type].[locale].html
where type is one of ‘success’, ‘failure’, ‘sni_failure’ or ’nvdata_error’ and locale is the specified locale for the email (eg, en
or fr
).
The HTML content will be sent alongside the plain text from the vendor_email or translate_email ini file.
Email translations can be tested from the command line by running
le-cp email-test [locale] [email]
Where locale is the one you wish to parse & test, and will send a copy of all types to the provided email.
